Hello Ibrahim and thank you for your question. I am sending your original question together with the medical report to our English speaking specialist, who will send you a response in the next 24 hours. I am sorry for not being able to react faster to your request - our service is standardly provided in Czech language only.
Good evening Ibrahim, I understand your feelings, it must be frustrating to have such problems for more than year not knowing what is causing them. After reading the attached medical reports I have to admit I can hardly come up with any test you have not underwent already. On my opinion you have been examined very well.
Now you need to wait for the results from electromyography. Your doctors believe it should exclude or confirm the diagnosis of some of the myotonic syndromes. I have read you had this test done in January, but according to the report you had no muscle fasciculation (muscle twitch, involuntary movements) than, which might have altered the outcome. Please be patient, this test is very important and without it you doctor cannot move any further. Myotonic syndromes are one of the most common adult-onset causes of muscle dystrophy and it might explain you muscle weakness, asymmetry of the arms muscle strength and the fatigue. If the EMG is negative, there is a genetic test your doctors could perform, if they want to be sure.
Although it would not explain all your problems, Chlamydia infection could also trigger your symptoms. Ask your GP or someone who has all your reports and result whether you have been tested for these. I also suggest the tests for possible allergies.
As for the weakness of your right arm - it could be caused by compression of one nerve in the elbow joint. Ask you neurologist if he/she has given it a thought.
Your fatigue, digestive problems, dizziness, brain fog, general unwell feeling might be results of Gilbert syndrome, which is benign, but in some conditions in some individuals can have large spectrum of symptoms. They usually appear in the stress, after physical or mental exertion, when you do not sleep enough etc.. Please read some articles about the disease. Ask for a consultation of a gastroenterologist.
Last but not least some if not all your problems could also have some psychological context. I recommend you to visit some psychologist and consult what you could do to relieve the stress.
I hope this answer gave you some hints. I wish you find the reasons to your problems soon so you could feel better.
Kind regards Sona Bouskova, M.D.
